Information Maturity

Every ERP project is sold and implemented on eye popping Return on Investment promises. In reality the organization is left with an integrated system where the transactions work but true organizational integration eludes them.

Few companies have been able to achieve true supply chain value within their Enterprise Applications. The management theories may be understood, but few companies are actively and effectively using the standard management tools and reports available within the core Enterprise Applications (such as SAP) functionality.

Experience shows that most companies have good intentions to go back and improve/correct decisions that were made to help rush their go-live implementations... but in actual fact they never revisit the business rules that define the business processes. Key post go-live questions need to be measured i.e. did we get the ROI we expected? Have our operational costs dropped? Has our inventory been optimized and are we more effective and efficient? While implementations are focused predominantly on getting the transactions to work, we focus on helping organizations rise above the transactions into Information Maturity that will help them achieve the results they seek.
