Information Maturity

Few companies have been able to achieve true supply chain value within their Enterprise Applications. The management theories may be understood, but few companies are actively and effectively using the standard management tools and reports available within the core Enterprise Applications (such as SAP®) functionality.

Every ERP project is sold and implemented on eye popping Return on Investment (ROI) promises. In reality the organization is left with an integrated system where the transactions work but true organizational integration eludes them. The result of which is a low ROI and a sentiment across the user community that the Enterprise Application does not work for them.

While implementations are focused predominantly on getting the transactions to work, Information Maturity suggest organizations need to rise above the transactions and allow the technology to do the work and allow the users to use their unique abilities, tribal knowledge to drive and set business goals.

The road to business improvement is through Information Maturity. This is measured by an organization’s ability to move through the Information Maturity Quadrants (see diagram) and being able to accurately target and measure progress towards business value. By proactively managing information, the organization is able to better control the business and its associated risks.

We have translated business and technology best practices into a methodology that has a singular goal: to help companies achieve ongoing VALUE optimization™ (oVo™) within their current Enterprise Application environment.
