S/4HANA v ECC: What is Different in Procurement & Performance Monitoring

Many businesses are wondering what will be better with SAP's new S/4HANA system. In this webinar we will look at changes in the Procurement and Supplier Performance areas. We will explore new functionality developed for S/4 for classification and segmentation of suppliers and supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.

S/4 with Fiori brings many new opportunities in the area of supplier evaluation and performance monitoring. Join us as we explore this new functionality.

  • Explore how S/4 enhances and improves procurement and performance monitoring. This functionality is available in ECC but it is difficult to implement and clunky in GUI. In S/4 the functionality is simplified and enhanced with Fiori apps. Data gathering, data analysis, display and graphics can be done in the Fiori environment which gives user many more options.
  • Understand how S/4 allows for segmentation and classification of suppliers, functionality which does not exist in ECC. With this functionality you can classify and segment your suppliers by multiple criteria enabling you to identify suppliers in a flexible manner, as well as to define and monitor sourcing strategies.
  • Learn about S/4's latest on-prem version, 2021, introduces a new business process for Activity Management whereby purchasers can collaborate with internal stakeholders on activities and projects. This can help to improve supplier performance and reduce costs, to establish a strategic partnership, or to develop a new category strategy.
